Event: Loch Corbie Fighter Training
Dates: Every Tuesday during October and November
Venue: Apex Tennis Courts, Beckwith Street, Wagga
Times: 4:30pm – 6:30pm

Spring has sprung, and every young person’s desires turn to fighting and raiding! Come along for an afternoon of heavy training in Wagga with our group’s registered marshals. We intend to run heavy and rapier training and pick up sessions every Tuesday during October and November.

Learn the basic principles and techniques of tournament combat, construction of swords and shields along with some of the etiquette and culture of SCA tournaments. This is dependant on the level of interest.

Please make sure you wear comfortable clothing, preferably long sleeves, and bring appropriate “protection” if you intend to try armoured combat or rapier fencing. So, the minimum is a cricket box for men, or a cricket Jill for women.
Also, enclosed shoes are strongly suggested.

We have group armour that is available for use on the day.

Non member adults and minors (0-18 yrs) it is $6.00 to cover public laibility. Members is $4.00. This will help cover our hall costs.

Contact: Please contact either James Douglas in Wagga on 0452 591 424 or Scott Murrowood (if you want a ride from Wodonga) on 0407 674 470.
